Versatile sophomore midfielder and defender Madyson Brown continues to improve and exude dominance, a notion that instills fear into opposing GSAC teams. With Brown’s assistance, opposing offenses have only scored five goals against the Eagles in 2016. Brown lays it all out on offense as well, occasionally moving up to midfield, resulting in two goals and two assists so far, which is already better than her offensive numbers from last year.

Junior defender Bri Mikalson has been shot out of a cannon this season, improving in every statistical category, similar to Brown. She has molded her defense into greatness and has contributed eight points of her own on offense, including two goals. One of her goals stood as the game-deciding goal in a tough 1-0 victory over the Vanguard University Lions on Oct. 1.
