Disturbing the Peace ― Rose Hall

Reported Nov. 15, 5:49 p.m.

A staff member reported loud music outside the building was disturbing classes inside. An officer made contact with the individuals and asked them to turn it off. They did so without further incident.

Possession of Weapon on School Grounds ― Lot G

Reported Nov. 16, 3:35 p.m.

An officer observed a student carrying a knife. The officer made contact and confiscated the weapon and referred the case to Student Development.

Petty Theft ― Bookstore

Reported Nov. 18, 12:38 p.m., occurred between Nov. 11, 11:30 a.m. and Nov. 18, 11:30 a.m.

A bookstore staff member reported missing books during an inventory check. The case has been referred to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, who is continuing the investigation with Campus Safety.

Vandalism ― Chase Gymnasium

Reported Nov. 28, 6:36 a.m., occurred between Nov. 22, 2 a.m. and Nov. 28, 5 a.m.

A facilities worker reported random letters etched into the piano. The case has not been reported to the LASD, and Campus Safety is continuing the investigation.
