Petty theft, sexual battery and trespassing make up this week’s crime log.

Petty Theft ― Horton Hall

May 7, 7:20 p.m., reported May 14

A student had cash stolen from them in the lobby. Campus Safety is investigating the incident.

Disturbing the Peace ― La Mirada Apartments

May 17, 12:23 a.m.

A resident reported loud music playing. When a Campus Safety officer investigated arrived there was no sign of a disturbance.

Sexual Battery, Forcible Fondling, ― Lot I (Baseball Field)

4 years ago, reported May 18

Student Development reported a case they received to Campus Safety that occurred four years prior. Both Student Development and Campus Safety are investigating the incident.

Petty Theft ― Track and Field

May 15, 3:30 – 4:00 p.m., reported May 18

A watch was taken from the track field. The case was referred to the LASD and both the LASD and Campus Safety are investigating the incident.

Petty Theft ― Hope Hall

May 17, 10:00 – 2:30 p.m., reported May 18

A student moving out had an item stolen from outside their room. The investigation is ongoing.

Trespassing ― Sigma Hall

May 19, 1:22 a.m.

A student reported seeing an individual trespassing in Sigma. An officer approached, but it turned out the individual was not a trespasser. The incident was cleared with no follow-up necessary.
