Crime Log: Nov. 10 — Nov. 17

A hit and run with property damage and an incident of trespassing make up this week’s crime log.

PETTY THEFT — LIBRARY

Between Nov. 7, 5:00 p.m. and Nov. 10, 10:20 a.m.

A bicycle was taken from the bike rack outside of the library. The investigation remains active.

HIT AND RUN: PROPERTY DAMAGE — CROWELL PARKING LOT

Nov. 11, between 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

A driver left her car for three and a half hours and when she returned she found minor damage. The investigation is still active.

PETTY THEFT — ALPHA

Nov. 9, between 11:00 p.m. and 11:05 p.m.

A student left her room, came back and discovered some property was missing. The investigation remains ongoing.

DISTURBING THE PEACE — HOPE HALL

Nov. 14, 12:58 a.m.

Students were playing basketball after hours. An officer contacted the students and told them to stop.

Nov. 14, 8:25 p.m.

A Hope resident called in a complaint about loud music coming from another room in the building. When the officer arrived, they could not find the source of the noise in Hope.

PETTY THEFT — ROSECRANS APARTMENTS

Nov. 15, between 1:30 p.m. and 2:04 p.m.

A couple of packages were taken from the mailboxes outside by the apartments. It is an ongoing investigation.

Nov. 15, 11:28 p.m.

Students were playing basketball after hours. An officer responded and told them to stop.

TRESPASSING — LA MIRADA APARTMENTS

Nov. 17, 1:15 p.m.

An officer made contact with an individual going through recyclables in the dumpsters. They let him know that Biola apartments are private property and asked them to leave.
