Friday night saw thousands of Biola students pack out Chase Gymnasium to witness the 2011 edition of Mock Rock, an annual dance competition held by Associated Students. This year’s version, themed Soul Train, did not disappoint as students rocked out to dance routines from various lip-sync dance groups. In attendance as a guest judge was singer Judith Hill, back-up singer to the late Michael Jackson. Bropoc took home the title, winning the judging panel over with their infectious energy and popular song choices. Men of Honor, composed mostly of residents from Horton Hall’s third floor, garnered second place honors, and Biola Ratio won third place.
